The position coordinates the deployment and communication of retail pharmacy's clinical projects and Brand initiatives at the direction of Brand pharmacy operational leadership. The position is the primary liaison for Brand clinical and pharmacy operations, aggregating and disseminating communications from numerous sources of input including, but not limited to, Brand pharmacy leadership and RBS pharmacy services. The position reviews, analyzes, and cascades clinical pharmacy metrics and initiatives at the direction of the Brand's clinical pharmacy lead and/or Brand Director. This position contributes to the success of the pharmacy business by communicating key information to the pharmacy teams.What we ask of you:

  • Supports department records management and processing of invoices
  • Responsible for updating the Source.
  • Serves as a resource for Brand Pharmacy Department for communication, clinical program resources, and administrative needs.
  • Serves as the backup for Compliance Communications
  • Supports Pharmacy Operations with record retention, invoicing, surveys and store outreach
  • Utilize excel to help analyze data and provide to Pharmacy Operations or stores
What you bring to the table:
  • Coordinates, sequences, and executes clinical communications directed to Brand retail pharmacy associates, including: updates, projects, programs, etc. at the direction of the Brand's clinical pharmacy lead.
  • Responsible for Brand pharmacy clinical metric reporting and analysis, facilitating clinical programs (e.g. Health Screening Events), and clinical licensing (e.g. CLIA waiver applications), and cascading those throughout the Brand.
  • Conducts analysis of clinical and financial metrics, to assist the Brand's clinical pharmacy lead and Brand Pharmacy District Managers in implementing strategies for department growth.
  • The position supports the Remote MTM Call Center through direct patient outreach, appointment scheduling, conducting medication list reconciliation prior to patient appointments, and revenue tracking.
  • Facilitates the deployment of new clinical initiatives or programs through execution of communication and training plans.Serves as the primary point of contact for retail pharmacy associates regarding clinical programs, clinical metrics and quality standards standard practices, training documents, or operational programs.
  • Assist with any clinical permits, applications or other documents.
  • Assist with clinical communications of initiatives or protocols when needed.
  • Inform Medicare D patients of their eligibility for medication review services (MTM services), and work with patients to schedule telephonic appointments for medication reviews.
  • Perform the initial communication outreach for eligible patients (i.e. “cold calling”).
  • Field a variety of questions from patients on medication review services, benefits, eligibility, etc.
  • Effectively communicate with a wide range of patients on services and consultations.
  • Prepare cases for pharmacists by reconciling medication patient's prescription history with the Medicare D prescription history.
  • Assist with clinical projects and initiatives within the department, e.g. outreach to companies hosting flu clinics, organizing distribution of health fair materials, etc.
  • Assist the Director of Pharmacy with communications pertaining to the State, Market, or total Brand.
  • Collaborate with the other Specialists to prepare the weekly communications and distribute to all Pharmacy Teams and the Pharmacy Operation Group.
  • May assist with the Pharmacy Operations with the submission of HR paperwork and record retention for new associates within the specified Market.
  • Assist with department record keeping and invoicing.
  • May assist Pharmacy Operations with communication and collection of data of urgent matters such as Recalls, scheduling, inventory or key sales drives in the specified market.
  • Coordinates, sequences, and executes communications directed to Brand retail pharmacy associates, including: updates, projects, programs, etc. at the direction of the Brand pharmacy lead.
  • Serves as a resource for Brand Pharmacy District Managers for communication, clinical program execution, and administrative needs.
What you bring to the table:
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Associate's Degree or Pharmacy Technician License
    • Pharmacy Technician training and licensing within 2 years if not already licensed
  • Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both patient-directed and with associates in the pharmacy.
  • Ability to quickly become proficient with Medication Therapy Management (MTM) platforms, including Mirixa and Outcomes
  • Strong organizational skills, especially related to scheduling and time-management
