Vero Beach, FL: Director of Sacred Music / Organist

St. Helen's Catholic Church, located along the eastern coast of Florida, has been serving a vibrant Catholic community since 1919. We are seeking a dedicated Director of Sacred Music who will enrich our liturgical celebrations and deepen our community's appreciation of our Catholic musical heritage. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic in good standing, skilled in playing the organ, Gregorian chant, and polyphony, with experience in directing adult and children's choirs. Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills are essential, especially to support music education at our school.

Our community comprises approximately 3,300 families, with six Sunday liturgies, including a Saturday vigil at 4 pm and five Masses on Sunday. Starting August 2024, we will introduce daily Mass for school children, requiring at least one Mass per month with music suited for students from pre-K to 8th grade.
