Together, we're taking carbon removals out ofthe lab, and into the real world.As theVentures and Strategy Director, you'll work closely with the EVPFinance, Strategy, Partnership, M&A and Carbon Marketsof Elimini to:

• DevelopCarbon Elimini's strategy to help achieve Drax Group's goal.
• Supportpartnership development to achieve the objectives ofthe company

This includes the responsibility for the identification,negotiation, formation, development, and long-term management ofpartnerships to support Elimini's objectives. As the Ventures andStrategy Director, you'll seek inputs and support from legal,finance, and tax to best structure partnerships.About the roleAs the Ventures and StrategyDirector, you'll be responsible for, but not limited to

• Developing the Elimini strategyto support the achievement of the Elimini objectivesand ensuring alignment through collaboration with Drax GroupM&A&Strategy team.
• Ensuring that Elimini's businessstrategy is aligned to the Drax Group corporate framework and be key pointof contact for the Drax Strategy team for questions, queriesand assisting in preparing Board updates on Elimini strategy.Leading identification,negotiation, formation and long-term management of partnershipsincluding T&S and equity partnerships that will support achievement ofthe Elimini targets.
• Identifying potentialpartnership targets which support Elimini objectives includingboth strategic (e.g., T&S companies, etc.) and financial (e.g., equityparticipants, etc.) partners.
• Managing allaspects of the negotiation process with potential partners includingcoordination with legal, development, Drax Group M&A&Strategyand Drax Group Finance.
• Supporting EVPwith financial analysis of potential projects and presenting to thePresident of Elimini, Drax CEO, Drax Group Chief Financial Officerand Drax Group committees for approvals.

What you'll bring:To excel in this vital role, you'll need:

• Significantexperience working in a corporate/commercial environment within theEnergy sector, with a relevant professional qualification.
• Demonstrateyour experience negotiating and structuring complex commercial agreementswith various parties within a project, preferably in the energy sector.
• Experiencein managing joint venture relationships with partners in energyinfrastructure development projects, including pre-FID (Final InvestmentDecision) and post-FID activities
• Provenexperience in collaborating with partners to execute developmentagreements.
• Provenability to help secure funding, including internal and partners approval.
• Anatural ability to present information to a wide rangeof stakeholders with impact and clarity; an excellentcommunicator able to present and influence at all levels of theorganization.
• A teamplayer with high self-awareness and the ability to adapt influencing styleto build relationships and get results.
