Vegetation Foreman - SolScapes, LLC : Job Details

Job Duties and Responsibilities• Cutting trees• Operating chainsaw & brush saw• Moving & chipping wood• Ability to handle Right of way clearing near powerlines.• Wood, brush and debris piling and site cleanup.• Possible equipment operation(skidder, excavator, skid steer, chipper etc.)• Clean and maintain equipment as necessary.• Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.• Must have a valid driver's license.• Must be able to pass drug, alcohol, and background checks.• Must have good hand eye coordination. • Must be able to repair tools and equipment as needed.• Able and willing to travel long distances on short notice.• Able and willing to work for extended periods in various locations.• Able and willing to work in all types of weather environments including inclement weather.• Able and willing to work overtime when required.• Subject to be on call for storm work.• Must be able to enter and exit vehicles numerous times per day. • Must be able to wear PPE. • Understanding of the utility industry and operations.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.• Excellent organization and time management skills.• High level of professionalism and integrity.• Excellent leadership and management skills.• Ability to make decisions.• Ability to process and analyze data. Working Conditions• Work is performed outside in all types of weather environments. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to bend, climb, stoop, stand, and lift for long periods of time.• Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers. • Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time. • Must be able to walk, climb, and work from various heights. • Must be able to work in uneven and slippery conditions. • Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
