Valence Reporting Specialist - Dorger Software Architects : Job Details

Job Description

About the RoleAs a Valence Reporting Specialist, you'll own the design, development, and maintenance of our reporting infrastructure to surface critical insights for clients and internal teams. You'll partner closely with solution engineers and business analysts to translate requirements into robust, performant reports and data-conversion scripts. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives on turning raw data into actionable information.

Skills and Qualifications

• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS):

• End-to-end report development (design, deployment, subscriptions)

• Performance tuning and parameterized reports

• T-SQL Mastery:

• Writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and views

• Indexing strategies and execution-plan analysis

• Data Conversion Scripting:

• Authoring SQL scripts to extract, transform, and load data for migrations

• Experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tooling a plus

• Crystal Reports (Plus):

• Designing and customizing Crystal reports for desktop or web delivery

• Integrating Crystal with .NET or other front-end applications

• Database Fundamentals:

• Solid understanding of relational concepts, normalization, and data modeling

• Problem Solving:

• Aptitude for diagnosing data issues, validating results, and implementing efficient solutions

• Communication & Collaboration:

• Clear, concise documentation of report specs and conversion processes

• Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Adaptability & Growth Mindset:

• Willingness to learn new tools and techniques as our platform evolves
