UX/AI Designer - 99% Remote in Philly - Robert Half : Job Details

We're partnering with a growing product team that's shaping the future of digital tools for healthcare professionals. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI experiences that support global medical medical professionals.

You'll join a well-established UX team and take the lead in designing intuitive, impactful interactions powered by Generative AI. This role is perfect for someone passionate about human-centered design, behavioral science, and the ethical use of AI.

This role is 6+ months long and the person will need to be located in the Philadelphia area for occasional meetings onsite, but will be primarily remote.

What You'll Do:

• Design new AI-powered interactions and improve existing user experiences for healthcare applications.
• Shape how users engage with Generative AI by optimizing prompts, outputs, and conversational flow.
• Use behavioral science principles to drive user behavior toward better outcomes.
• Build and test prototypes to validate ideas and communicate design vision.
• Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to refine the user experience.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers in an agile environment.
• Help define design standards for AI experiences and mentor others in this emerging discipline.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience designing user interactions for Generative AI systems.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, context engineering, and LLM-based design.
• Strong understanding of human behavior, cognitive load, and conversational design.
• Passion for responsible AI and interest in its ethical implications.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting in fast-paced, agile teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong grasp of user-centered design practices.
