( - Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near warehouse, plant, or work site. Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks and shelves by hand or fork lift. Prepares products for shipment; keeps record of goods shipped. Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order. Prepares identifying information (labeling) and shipping instructions on containers. Notifies supervisor of any major incidence of damage to materials received or scheduled to be shipped. Prepares and/or maintains computerized warehouse/shipping documents to coordinate or schedule the routine work of warehouse support staff.
