The primary functions of the position are to clean doorjambs, doorsills, machine faces, frames, faceplate, and oven door seals on the battery ovens. Summary of Responsibilities. Perform simple routine work of cleaning doorjambs, doorsills, machine faces and frame, faceplate between will and bench on the pusher and coke side of the battery. Perform simple routine work, dampering and removing lids, sweeping, and sealing lids. Assist Pusher Machine Operator in keeping oven doors clean and sealed.
