The Utility Line position requires the team member to rotate through a physically demanding line & perform repetitive hand movements in all workstations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Processes product using tools, manual labor, and equipment provided in accordance with USDA and Pilgrims product standards and procedures. Process product according to operating procedures and quality/quantity expectations. Hang/grade birds. Tuck wings. Places trusses on birds. Truss birds. Run and operate Sort N Weigh Box, label, and scale birds. Operate Corrvac machine, CO 2, Seal, & tucking bags. Must be able to lift 50 pound box as needed. Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns. Clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned.
