Utility Construction Safety Observer (TX) - EXCEL ENGINEERING : Job Details

Candidates for this role should have a strong background in construction safety oversight, particularly in utility-scale transmission line, substation, and civil construction environments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitor daily construction activities to ensure safe work practices for all parties involved while adhering to the customers, OSHA, MAD, and NERC/ FERC requirements. Conduct daily inspections and safety observations while documenting milestones and generating reports. Help develop and implement safety programs and oversee field safety operations that meet customers needs & tailored to their safety protocols. Maintain effective communication with onsite teams and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Analyze field observation data to identify trends & hazard mitigation. Develop corrective action plans.
