Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating key sawmill equipment including the Trim-saw, Edger, Gangsaw, Chipper, and De-barker to ensure efficient and safe processing of logs and lumber JOB DUTIES: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: Operate and monitor key sawmill equipment including the Trim-saw, Edger, Gangsaw, Chipper, and De-barker to ensure efficient and safe processing of logs and lumber. Assist in the setup, calibration, and adjustment of machinery to meet production specifications and optimize material yield. Perform routine checks on equipment to identify malfunctions or needed maintenance, and report issues to the maintenance team.
