The selected candidate must reside in northern Indiana or southern Michigan and can expect to travel throughout Michigan and Indiana over 50% of the time. The selected candidate will pull deeds, patents, mortgages, contracts, easements, tax cards, plats, and other instruments required to complete the client's needs.The Title Researcher will compile information into client software and online database while ensuring accuracy of title information. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. This is a largely sedentary role; however, the employee occasionally is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff.
