Utilities Lead - Ingredion : Job Details

The Utilities Lead will support the critical aspects of the maintenance department to ensure the continuous and ongoing operations of the plant. This position is responsible for coaching and developing maintenance technicians to provide a safe and reliable starch manufacturing environment. This position will report to the Manager of Maintenance, Reliability, & Utilities.

What you will do:

• Ensure safe completion of supervised work, with regular safety walks and site inspections.
• Maintain plant equipment for continuous operation, troubleshoot issues, and handle unplanned maintenance.
• Lead innovation efforts during transition to proactive maintenance, fostering improvement across operations.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including staffing and overtime coordination, to optimize cost and service.
• Manage spare parts and balance day-to-day maintenance with multi-departmental project priorities.
• Share technical knowledge, train staff, and execute basic projects aligned with the site's Maintenance Strategy.
• Build strong internal relationships and understand customer needs, while supporting flexible work hours as required.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical field
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Practical knowledge of predictive maintenance tools and techniques
• Precision maintenance skills
• Multi-craft maintenance environment experience

Pay Range: $81,680.00-$108,906.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation: As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
