UX Researcher / User Experience Researcher
Duration: Long Term Ongoing Project with NO end Date
Location: Remote and Onsite Twice a week (Pensacola, FL)
To assist in planning, leading, and formulating user-centered design strategies and solutions for experiences and initiatives using insights and inputs gathered from moderately complex profile research projects, psychology, and UX best practices. Serve as a change agent, seeking innovative solutions to complex problems. Collaborate across teams to conduct research and analysis, uncover opportunities, and formulate solutions that deliver value and exceptional user experiences. Work under limited supervision on moderately complex projects, exercising judgment within established procedures and practices.
Responsibilities:
Act as a consultative and advisory resource to design and product teams to identify research topics and plan initiatives for both generative and evaluative purposes.Evaluate and lead projects to analyze user experience; develop guides, screeners, moderate sessions, analyze data, synthesize findings, and make recommendations.Lead development and maintenance of experience and journey maps throughout project lifecycles.Gather, analyze, and develop user stories reflecting user needs.Conduct research using qualitative methods (e.g., ethnography, interviews, workshops) and quantitative methods (e.g., surveys).Present findings compellingly and tailor insights to audiences; influence organizational decisions.Create tools and artifacts (personas, design principles, scenarios, workshops) for design and product teams.Support teams in translating research insights into innovative solutions with measurable outcomes.Develop educational tools and promote UX Research within the organization.Collaborate with stakeholders to champion user-centric approaches based on research findings.Serve as liaison for research insights and their application to channel services.Use strategies and tools to maximize value for users efficiently.Perform analysis to justify feature enhancements and prioritize development.Lead UX initiatives across work streams.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Experience in user experience/market/consumer research, project management, and strategic analysis.Proficiency in various research methodologies (usability studies, ethnography, journey mapping, eye-tracking, surveys, etc.).Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.Experience with UX research platforms and quantitative market research methods.Knowledge of financial industry practices, products, and services.Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, etc.).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.Proficient in word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and presentations.Preferred: background in tech, product development, design, and experience with design thinking.Preferred: Master's Degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Design, or related fields.Application:
