Alderson Loop is seeking an HCD Business Analyst to join a strategic digital transformation project with one of our enterprise clients in the energy and utilities space. This role is ideal for a user-focused professional with a strong background in Human-Centered Design (HCD), Six Sigma methodologies, and digital strategy alignment.

As a liaison between business partners and internal HumanITy teams, you will play a key role in shaping user experiences, optimizing processes, and driving application adoption through strategic design thinking and quality excellence practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply Process Quality Excellence

• Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in user experience workflows
• Use data-driven insights to measure and optimize user outcomes across digital tools

Drive Strategic Application Vision

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Experience Architecture, Design, Project Success) to align business objectives with digital experience strategies
• Organize and optimize content and navigation across dual systems to ensure intuitive UX

Develop and Maintain HCD Process Maps

• Partner with Experience Architecture teams to develop and refine HCD delivery process maps
• Ensure processes are actionable, goal-oriented, and clearly communicated to stakeholders
• Map user personas and journeys to align solutions with user needs and pain points
• Focus on driving satisfaction and usability through well-designed systems

Support Tactical Execution and Research

• Participate in discovery and research efforts to uncover user insights
• Assist with stakeholder reporting and feedback collection

Deliver Project Accelerators

• Contribute to tools and strategies that shorten design and discovery timelines
• Provide ongoing research and business knowledge to accelerate outcomes

Act as a Liaison to Business Partners

• Translate business partner needs into actionable digital strategies and solutions
• Ensure alignment between cross-functional technical teams and business units

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Quality Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in UX, process improvement, or quality management
• Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles and best practices
• Demonstrated experience aligning digital strategies to business goals and user outcomes
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with project management and UX design tools
