The Payment Services Testing Team is looking for a conscientious and hardworking individual to join the team. The individual will be responsible for performing User Acceptance Testing on new software, prior to production install, to ensure zero defects are introduced into our Production environment.
The type of testing we conduct includes but not limited to - Manual, Automation, Functional and Regression. The role involves working closely with project teams and business partners to understand business requirements, defining test strategies and documenting detailed scripts, execution of scripts and sign off. There may be a requirement to work specific time zones dependent on the allocated project. This is challenging, fast paced team which requires people to have the ability to change direction as required to guarantee delivery of the project.
You will be a User Acceptance Testing individual contributor to Quality Control (QC) project teams within T&O and/or lines of business . Works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed and/or design and execute test plans and procedures for acceptance testing of new or modified applications and/or systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware technology and tools, etc. Provides guidance in the creation of standard test environments, tests plans, and test scripts. Prepares and conducts acceptance testing of new or modified applications and systems. As a senior member of the technical staff, assists senior business and IT management in determining the direction of current and future developments in area of expertise. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Provides feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers.
Responsibilities:
You will work as part of a Global team across multiple sites in the UK, USA and APAC.You will conduct business software testing for suite of Global Treasury Services products and services.Your testing coverage includes Regulatory, Business Enablement, Risk, Technology and Operations.You will join project teams to learn about the product, software changes and required testing scope.You will develop test strategies, creating test plans and executing test scripts.You will document results using bank tools and providing end to end traceability. You will be performing testing on multiple applications including GBS / GPP / GIN / GLP / GTMS / APC / WTX and more.You will work closely with Change Management, Technology, Product and Operations.
Required Skills:
Must have Testing work experience in a payments domain such as payments processing or investigations.
Must have JIRA / QC ALM system knowledge and bug logging.
Payments work experience including XML format types.
Must have high attention to detail, organization skills and manage you time accordingly.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products.
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of SWIFT, ISO 20022, NACHA formats, low-value and high-value clearings such as Target 2, Fed Wire, CHIPS, USACH, BACS, Real Time Payments and Digital wallets will be advantageous.
Experience in an Agile project methodology will be advantageous.
Having the ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines will be advantageous.
