Role: Data Architecture Expert

Start date: immediate

Background check MANDATORY

Candidate must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect and code data structures from ingestion to visualization using Snowflake, dbt, and modern BI Tools.
  • Implement best practices for the data platform to ensure maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Provide expertise in data warehouse modeling and development for Snowflake.
  • Exercise best practices in data modeling for non-uniform data sets.
  • Maintain source code control with Github.
  • Design and maintain data security access controls.
  • Develop SQL, HTML, and JavaScript code for optimization and visualization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Mentor junior data developers.
    • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field; emphasis in Data Engineering is a plus.
  • 10-12 years of Data Engineering Development and visualization experience.
  • 6-8 years of Data Warehouse experience, with Snowflake preferred.
  • 6-8 years of SQL experience, Snowflake SQL preferred.
  • 2-4 years of dbt experience, semantic layer experience is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Github.
  • 2+ years of Python development.
  • Experience with HTML and JavaScript related to Looker is preferred.
  • Experience with systems like Salesforce, Oracle, BI tools, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills.
