Urgently Hiring Experienced Caregiver in Sherman, TX! - Heaven at Home Senior Care : Job Details

Our ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing and has extensive experience working with seniors needing Dementia care.

This client will require transportation to meetings, appointments and other events. You will be reimbursed for mileage!

Shift:

• Part-time
• 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Requirements:

• One year of professional caregiving experience
• Dementia care experience
• Gait belt experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Current auto insurance
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Smart Phone

Responsibilities:

• Help with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, dressing, and incontinence care
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Simple meal preparations and light housekeeping
• Help with transferring and safe mobility

If you cover night and overnight shifts:

• Assist with nighttime routines such as preparing for bed and personal care and provide occasional incontinence care
• Stay awake and alert at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of clients throughout the night
• Maintain a calm environment to ensure clients get the restful sleep they need

Our caregiving roles involve providing companionship, personal care, and light housekeeping. All our clients have different needs and specific care plans. We will not match with a client that requires help beyond your comfort level and knowledge.
