Urgent Care Physician Locums Needed in West Virginia - Alumni Healthcare Staffing : Job Details

• Requirements: If ABEM 1yr of experience, If ABFM or ABIM 2yrs of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Active WV License.
• Schedule: Minimum of three shifts per month. Looking for more, 6-12 shifts per month

• Provider will see patients with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, they may do splints, Xrays/EKGs, drawing blood and I&Ds. Typical Urgent Care assignment, anything high acuity will get referred to the local ER
• medical assistants and rad techs onsite
• AVG patient volume: 3-4 patients per hour
• Sites will be staffed with 1-3 providers per day. *If a physician is not on site, a physician will be remotely available for escalation
• MUST be comfortable seeing patients of all ages
• MUST be comfortable with orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care
• provider will travel between this site, Fayetteville and Lewisburg - sites are no more than 30mi apart
