Urgent Care Physician - Northeast Healthcare Recruitment : Job Details

We areseeking an experienced and flexible Locums Urgent Care Physician to join our team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Providers willrotate between multiple urgent care sites, all within a 30-mile radius ofPittsburgh. This position involves treating patients of all ages withnon-life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Full-Time:12+ shifts per month
• Part-Time:6+ shifts per month
• Minimum availability required:3 shifts per month consistently

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat cold/flu symptoms, rashes, sprains, abrasions, minor burns, lacerations
• Perform procedures such as splinting, wound care, I&Ds, drawing blood, X-rays, and EKGs
• Refer high-acuity cases to nearby emergency departments
• Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages
• Travel between urgent care sites (all within 30 miles)

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience OR 1 year of emergency medicine experience
• Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
• Proficient in orthopedic procedures (e.g., splinting) and wound care
• Must be able to work
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA
• Board Certified; Active Pennsylvania license required
