• Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | 40 hours/week
• Start Date: Flexible
• Pay: Competitive weekly pay + travel stipends + potential for extension

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery
• Support residents in improving mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a long-term care setting
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and state guidelines

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Certification: Active PTA license in South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience: Prior LTC or geriatric experience preferred but not required
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
