PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Zero Point is seeking a highly experienced Unmanned Systems Integration Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical engineering to support USSOCOM programs at Ft. Bragg, NC. This role will provide subject matter expertise in the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of unmanned systems in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide engineering expertise across mechanical, electrical, and systems disciplines to support integration and deployment of unmanned systems.• Support SOF-specific development and integration of UAS, UGVs, and other robotic platforms.• Develop and review engineering design documentation, schematics, integration plans, and interface control documents.• Oversee or support platform-level integration of C5ISR payloads, sensors, propulsion systems, power distribution, and communications.• Coordinate with government and industry stakeholders on system architecture, testing, validation, and fielding strategies.• Lead or assist in lab/field testing, troubleshooting, and rapid prototyping for unmanned platforms.• Ensure systems are compliant with MIL-STD, DoD architecture frameworks, and SOF operational requirements.• Support lifecycle sustainment planning, engineering change proposals, and technology insertion.• Provide technical briefs and white papers to senior leadership and operational units. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.• 16+ years of relevant engineering experience, including unmanned systems integration.• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical subsystems, power systems, payload integration, and unmanned platform architecture.• Experience with integration of C5ISR systems, EO/IR sensors, RF systems, or weapons into UMS platforms.• Hands-on experience with design and test protocols.• Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.• Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle and rapid prototyping processes.• Prior experience supporting USSOCOM, SOF AT&L, or other SOF components. (preferred).
