Responsibilities:

• Provides strategic oversight of the university's financial activities, including debt management and investments. Works closely with university leadership to provide financial guidance, lead initiatives, and maintain fiscal health.
• Directs execution of university debt and capital financing arrangements, coordinates rating agency and investor relations, and manages relations with the State's Division of Bond Finance and the Board of Governors. Ensures debt and partnerships comply with statutes and policies.
• Monitors and oversees the university's investment portfolio, ensuring performance and liquidity. Prepares financial reports, liaises with external managers, and collaborates on cash forecasting.
• Acts as the primary contact for rating agencies and financial entities, prepares reports, and ensures regulatory compliance. Assists with long-term financial planning.
• Provides oversight of internal loans, collaborates with departments on funding proposals, and manages debt servicing processes.

Qualifications:

Master's degree and six years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree and eight years of related experience. Additional education may substitute for experience.
