University Library, Library Assistant 1, Temporary Part Time Pool - CLARION UNIVERSITY : Job Details

Clarion University is creating a pool of individuals to work through each academic semester as needed in Suhr Library on the Venango Campus. It seeks a collegial, service-oriented individual with knowledge of library public service operations, particularly those provided by a library circulation department, as well as knowledge and experience appropriate to provide basic technology support to library users. Overseeing and training student workers (if scheduled) while on duty is an expectation for shift assigned. Qualified applicants must be able to routinely canvas the library to oversee general patronage, provide basic library services such as book sorting and filing, apply basic computer skills to check out materials and provide basic service information to users. The hours and days for these part time positions will vary and may include hours from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday Thursday and Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm as needed.
