University Chaplain and Director of Spiritual Life - Texas Wesleyan University : Job Details

The Chaplain and Director of Spiritual Life functions as pastor to the university campus, including developing and providing religious services and an array of student services and opportunities for spiritual growth. The Chaplain must possess the appropriate educational credentials to teach adjunct courses in the Religion department, subject to approval by the Religion department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan and implement spiritual and religious programming activities for the campus, including but not limited to the following: weekly worship services, Wilson Lecture Series, Bible studies, fellowship activities, and other events that support the spiritual and religious needs of the campus community. Work to develop student engagement and student leadership in spiritual and religious life to provide opportunities for professional and personal development.
