Founded in 2007, CUNYs Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP) is a comprehensive full-time degree completion program for associate-degree seeking students. In 2015, CUNY created the Accelerate, Complete and Engage (ACE) program, the baccalaureate adaptation of ASAP. Implemented across thirteen CUNY colleges and supporting over 25,000 students per year, ASAP and ACE are increasing graduation rates and reducing the time to degree completion through the provision of comprehensive support services and financial resources that remove barriers to full-time study, build student resiliency, and support timely degree completion. Key program components include full-time enrollment, block scheduled first-year courses, cohort course taking, financial support, intrusive and mandatory advisement, career services, and tutoring.
Reporting to the ASAP|ACE Director for Data Strategies and Evaluation, the ASAP|ACE Associate Director for Program Management is responsible for executing key program initiatives on behalf of the ASAP|ACE at the Central Office, as well as general monitoring of program-wide policies and practices to maintain program fidelity. This position ensures that CUNY ASAP|ACE is working as a coordinated consortium that is responsive to implementation trends and challenges. The Associate Director will lead several key strategic program priorities that work to streamline program practices as informed by the continual use of program data and associated reports. In the first year, the Associate Director will be tasked to monitor and assess optimal integration between EAB Navigate and ASAPi, as well as promote best practice program usage of Navigate features program wide in dialogue with the Director of Student Success Platforms and Data Strategy.

Qualifications: Minimum Bachelors degree and six years related experience required. Preferred: At least six years of progressive experience working on student support initiatives. Demonstrated analytic thinking and planning ability. Experience coordinating multi-site projects and facilitating cross-functional groups. Ability to clearly communicate project goals and work effectively with multiple stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Excellent written, facilitation and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills (Word and Excel required) including the use of data visualization software. Strong understanding of the organization and policies of public higher education systems, particularly in the area, of academic advisement, and the needs of low-income urban college students.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary range is $106,439 - $114,353, commensurate with credentials, education and experience. CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/2026, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
