Unit Secretary / CNA - Full Time - Riverside Health System : Job Details

This position works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Registered Nurses and the under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse. This position is responsible for customer service, chart management, retrieval of reports, and patient care duties. The position is also responsible for performing duties such as ordering supplies, order entry, filing of patient information and follow up to patients and physician offices, and other secretarial/clerical duties as directed. When needed the position will perform specified treatments and assist as appropriate within the scope of practice of a CNA. In addition, this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served in assigned unit.
