Job Description :

Spectrum is seeking a Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) to provide support for our customer located at Creech AFB, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for the readiness of unit personnel and equipment; this is critical to the successful execution of unit deployments. The UDM shall ensure mobility requirements, scheduling, programming, and Unit Type Code (UTC) equipment and supplies are prepared and ready for immediate deployments. Effective checklist usage and record-keeping are essential to providing the required continuity in a dynamic work environment. Employment is contingent on contract award.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

As our UDM, you will be responsible for the readiness of unit personnel and equipment; this is critical to the successful execution of unit and unit deployments. Typical duties include:

  • Assist the unit by managing the mobility program.
  • Be available during all standard hours; additional hours may be required during contingencies.
  • Process unit members for exercises and deployments in accordance with wing, NAF, MAJCOM, Air Force, and AOR policies/requirements.
  • Guide personnel and equipment processing through the Personnel Deployment Function (PDF) and Cargo Deployment Function (CDF).
  • Oversee in-processing/out-processing, temporary deployment (TDY), and leave coordination for mobility purposes, including verification of mobility information and personnel availability.
  • Verify squadron personnel meet worldwide mobility training and records requirements, such as security clearances, LOAC, weapons qualifications, immunizations, FP, and IA.
  • Monitor, maintain, and track personnel mobility folders for all unit and attached personnel.
  • Coordinate with the training section to provide essential training for personnel readiness.
  • Experience

    Candidates should possess:

    • A “Top Secret” security clearance, a driver's license, relevant military experience related to the contractor position, and proficiency with computer systems.
    • Experience as a logistics planner or military experience related to unit mobility, computer system proficiency, and capability to operate a forklift.
    • A minimum of five (5) years working with the military, with either:
      • Two (2) years as an MQ-9 or RQ-170 Squadron UDM.

    OR

    • Five (5) years working in a DoD Squadron deployment office.
    Education

    High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory. Computer proficiency is essential. Knowledge of Air Force mobility programs, policies, procedures, training requirements, and related systems (DCAPES, DRRS, LOGMOD, ARIS, SharePoint, Microsoft Office) is required, along with reporting procedures, TPFDD, and equipment build-up and marshalling for CDF.
