Unit Clerk Med/Surg Livingston - Trinity Health Corporation : Job Details

Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager and/or designee provides clerical support for patients, visitors and colleagues on assigned nursing units. Facilitates patient registrations, admissions, discharges and transfers. Supports the patient experience and the culture of safety by providing equipment maintenance, stocking and ordering unit supplies, maintaining unit appearance and overall environment of care. Provides reception services to patients, families, visitors and other unit guests Shifts Available: Evening Shift 3 pm-11:30 pm Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (80 hours per pay period every two weeks) Every other weekend and holiday rotation required REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum of three months previous related experience.
