Unit Clerk - Emergency Services - Full Time - Guthrie Healthcare : Job Details

Responsible for clerical duties, communication and reception duties on assigned nursing units. Provides general support to both clinical and non-clinical. Demonstrates appropriate population specific communication skills. Essential Functions: Actively participates maintaining a safe environment. 1. Recognizes, troubleshoots and initiates corrective action needed on equipment. Follows hospital and nursing department policies and procedures regarding the care and use of equipment and supplies. Complies with all policies of the hospital and nursing department. Utilizes proper body mechanics to prevent injury to self or patients. Demonstrates organizational and time management skills. Completes work within a timely manner according to department guidelines. Maintains neat and clean work area. Orders and maintains clerical supplies as necessary.
