We currently have opportunities for Uniform Security Officers in King and Snohomish Counties, specifically for Sound Transit Mobile Patrol. Team members will receive $500 sign-on bonuses after 90, 150, 210, and 250 days (must meet requirements).

You Will:

• Receive hands-on training with our National Certified Training Instructors, including Defensive Tactics, OC Foam, Use of Restraints, and AVADE.

Responsibilities:

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and in vehicle.
• Obtain and maintain a WA State Security Certification within 60 days.
• Maintain all licenses, certifications, and equipment.
• Conduct patrol checks across assigned routes.
• Ensure site security and monitor for irregular or dangerous conditions.
• Control access by permitting authorized persons and monitoring entrances/exits.
• Report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Build positive community relations and uphold Sound Transit's reputation.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, with attention to detail.
• Carry defensive tools after training and certification.
• Assist first responders when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug testing (including THC).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: 2+ years in military, security, law enforcement, or related fields, or relevant college degree.
• Willing to attend paid mandatory training.
• Clear background check.
• Interest in security industry.
• Ability to stand for entire shift and physically restrain others if needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to obtain Washington State Security License.
• Must be 21 or older.
