Underwriting Operations Intern - Bala Cynwd - RLI Corporation : Job Details

Under frequent supervision, gain a broad understanding of the RLI business through real-world underwriting experience and on-the-job training. Principal Duties & Responsibilities. Collaborate and work closely with underwriters and management to support the underwriting operation. Analyze and interpret data from various systems and underwriting sources. Set-up submissions and prepare quotes for underwriters. Research and deliver investigative findings to underwriters and management. Complete project-based assignments as assigned. ?Education & Experience. Requires current enrollment in a College/ University institution pursuing a college degree .-2 years of experience in a related field or position. Open to all majors. Strong preference toward candidates with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies. Ability to analyze and resolve basic issues utilizing critical thinking skills.
