Job Location : New York,NY, USA
Analyze and evaluate applications for workers' compensation insurance policies. Service policies with large premiums and resolve underwriting issues that are potentially difficult, sensitive, or costly to NYSIF. Determine if the policy is properly underwritten. Analyze previous loss and premium data. Experience rating data and claims material to price coverage. Define, restrict, or qualify policy coverage. Review audits and renewals. Represent NYSIF at hearings before the Workers' Compensation Board and testify in depositions and trials as an expert witness. Correspond frequently with policyholders or their representatives, brokers, and NYSIF departments concerning other payroll and premiums, coverage, classifications, experience rating, certificate of insurance, endorsements, laws, rules, and procedures. Other related duties and responsibilities as necessary as assigned.
