Position: PRN Ultrasound Technologist As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for working independently in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center, with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of ultrasound imaging and patient care. The position requires flexibility to workday shifts.
  • Select ultrasound equipment according to examination specifications.
  • Explain procedures to patients, obtain patient history, and assist patients in positioning for exams.
  • Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures based on anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information, and images.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and work areas, ensuring adequate supplies.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
  • Extensive knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures and protocols.
  • ARDMS certification required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Minimum 1-year related experience.
  • General computer skills and PACS knowledge (preferred).
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
