Job Title: PRN Ultrasound Technologist Company: Radiology Associates Location: St. Augustine, FL Job Type: PRN (As Needed) - Day Shift Availability Required About Us: Radiology Associates is the leading provider of patient care and diagnostic imaging in East Central Florida. Position Summary: We are seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work independently in a fast-paced outpatient imaging setting and possess a strong understanding of ultrasound imaging and patient care protocols. Key Responsibilities:
  • Select ultrasound equipment based on examination requirements
  • Explain procedures, obtain patient history, and assist with proper patient positioning
  • Use cognitive sonographic skills to adapt procedures based on real-time imaging and findings
  • Ensure proper maintenance of ultrasound equipment and inventory of supplies
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to clinical protocols
Qualifications:
  • ARDMS Certification (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant ultrasound experience
  • Familiarity with PACS and general computer systems (Preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and work independently
  • Excellent patient service and bedside manner
