Ultrasound Technologist (Allied) - Compu-Vision Consulting : Job Details

Shift: 12-hour VARYING shifts No overnights and few or no weekends Description:

• Ultrasound Sonographer GENERAL ULTRASOUND 60-mile radius rule
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Specific experience and training in Medical Sonography.
• Vascular and obstetric experience required.
• Possesses knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency with most major Medical Sonography equipment, manufacturer's hardware and software.
• Ability to comply with on-call specifics.
• Lead - Proficient in the use of a personal computer including word processing.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision-making.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressures and to simultaneously handles multiple projects.
• Professional maturity that daily sets the tone in carrying out the responsibilities of the position. High degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.
• Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned.
• Ability to work under stress.

License Required:

• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)or Registry eligible.
• Current BCLS certification Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law.

Education: Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography required.
