The University's main campus is located in Athens, approximately 65 miles northeast of Atlanta, with extended campuses in Atlanta, Griffin, Gwinnett, and Tifton.Position Information Classification Title: Facilities ManagerFLSA: ExemptFTE: 1.00Minimum Qualifications Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field.Preferred Qualifications Master of Science in an agricultural field.Experience and a thorough knowledge in the production of peanuts, cotton, corn and soybeans in a production setting in the central/southern region of the state of Georgia.Working knowledge of modern precision agriculture technologies, modern irrigation systems i.e. center pivots, linears, etc.Position Summary The University of Georgia's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) started development of a 230-acre precision agriculture demonstration farm, UGA Grand Farm in Perry, GA, and is seeking an experienced individual to provide leadership and management of the farm and facilities.
