Rutgers is seeking a Director of Quality Improvement & Accreditation and Standards for the UCHC Central Administration offices located in Trenton, NJ. The Director is responsible for the overall functioning of the Quality Improvement Program for UCHC, manages the administrative activities of the Quality Improvement office and supervises all QI staff. The QI Director continuously assesses all aspects of care and services at UCHC, recommends improvement interventions and treatment, and monitors the effectiveness of such interventions and the maintenance of achieved improvements. The Director is responsible for assessing outcomes of treatment, using, adapting, and developing outcome assessment tools as necessary.

Duties
  • Directs the Quality Improvement Program.
  • Manages all aspects of the NCCHC accreditation to include maintaining compliance, preparing for site visits, and related activities that ensure continuous accreditation.
  • Oversees the administration of the program, identifies goals and targets, updates the program as appropriate, and evaluates its performance annually.
  • Oversees all performance improvement activities, including development and oversight of performance improvement teams.
  • Develops, implements, and reviews all performance measures; provides consultation and education to management and staff regarding performance measurement, improvement, and outcome data.
QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience
  • Minimum of Master's Degree in Statistics, Education, Nursing, Public Health, or related Health Care Area and seven (7) years of full-time experience in a relevant health care setting, including five (5) years in a senior level management role.
  • Knowledge of mental, dental, and physical health care services and extensive knowledge and experience with quality improvement programs.
  • Valid driver's license; must possess own vehicle or have alternative means of transportation between sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge and experience in statistical data analysis and ability to retrieve data from the Electronic Health Record used by NJDOC.
  • Strong oral presentation skills for conferences or professional training.
  • Two (2) years related supervisory experience.
  • Outstanding human relations and leadership skills; ability to supervise a unionized workforce and function in a team environment.
  • Computer literacy in ACCESS, EXCEL, Power BI or other AI tools, statistics applications, and ability to access data from electronic health records.
