You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Testing. You have found the right team. As a Test Lead within Corporate Investment Banking, you will play an integral role in the build out of the test automation and functional scenarios required for accelerating change program delivery. You will work in partnership with various stakeholders to define, design & execute against test strategies. You will join the Wholesale Know Your Customer Operations, Client Onboarding & Documentation (WKO CO&D) testing UAT team, to maintain & strengthen our controls/ testing framework. Job responsibilities

  • Support the definition and documentation of focused test strategies for onboarding applications.
  • Work with subject matter experts and technical development leads to define and execute testing strategies
  • Assist in managing timelines and dependencies while liaising with stakeholders and functional partners.
  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Perform Manual & Automation testing knowledge including usage of tools such as Java / Cucumber / Selenium framework, API, Java / Rest Assured, QTest
  • Ensure working knowledge of regression suite creation & maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
  • Continually review and add to existing test packs, whilst taking a strategic view on the evolving technology stack.
  • Design and implement tools/utilities to automate QA processes, app development and maintenance.
  • Produce summary and detailed testing estimates.
  • Report to all stakeholders on UAT status
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software automation testing concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Agile project delivery methodology.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders and c onfidence in communicating internally at all levels.
  • Strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and personnel efficiently
  • Hands-on practical experience testing with proven track record in QA software deliverables including defining and executing testing strategies.
  • Experience with functional testing automation tools (Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Python) and with API test automation (Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman)
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the following tools: Gradle, Maven, Git, Bit bucket, JIRA, Confluence, qTest, JMeter/Load Runner
  • Test estimation, scheduling and reporting progress
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Management of people, teams & functions, including different time-zones
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Independently design, develop, test, and deliver Test Solutions supporting UAT and UAT testing
  • Ability to assist in building and implementing designs that enhance testing processes.
  • Effective collaboration skills with engineering, design, and business teams.
  • Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn unfamiliar processes.
  • Highlight redundancies and opportunities in testing processes.
  • Must be collaborative, able to build strong relationships across the firm, strategize and drive process improvements, and results oriented
  • Proactive, self-motivated, flexible with a positive attitude and capable of 'thinking outside the box'
