Two Junior Group Leader Positions (f/m/d) in Angioscience
as soon as possible - 2 x 3-year non-tenure track appointments
- Establish and lead an independent research lab in vascular biology
- Conduct research on angiogenesis, vessel maturation, homeostasis, regression, and vascular control of organ function
- Secure third-party funding (e.g., DFG, ERC) and publish research findings
- Supervise junior scientists and collaborate within CRC1366
- Develop national and international partnerships; candidates with expertise in neurovascular biology or a strong fit with CRC1366 ‘Vascular Control of Organ Function' are particularly encouraged to apply
- MD, PhD, or MD/PhD with 2 to 8 years of postdoctoral research experience
- Strong scientific track record with publications and clear ambition to lead an independent research group
- Expertise or strong interest in vascular biology; neurovascular biology experience is a plus
- Good fit with the CRC1366 ‘Vascular Control of Organ Function' research themes is advantageous
- Ability to secure third-party funding and excellent communication skills in an international setting
