Responsibilities
Provide legal support in estate planning and estate administration matters.Draft legal documents related to trusts and estates, including wills and powers of attorney.Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored legal advice.Assist in estate administration, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive estate planning strategies.Maintain meticulous records and manage case files effectively.Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in estate planning and estate administration is preferred but not mandatory.
- Admission to the Connecticut Bar or willingness to seek admission.
- New York Bar admission is preferred but not required.
- Strong aptitude in tax law and estate planning principles.
Education
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is preferred but not required.
Certifications
- Active bar admission in Connecticut; New York admission is a plus.
