Truck Driver - Day Shift - Lassonde Pappas and Company : Job Details

This position is responsible for the safe operation of any and all company vehicles. 1. Role in Safe Quality Food (SQF)Truck Driver is responsible for safe transportation from Sun. Rype dock to location designated for delivery ensuring the finished product chain of custody is intact (seals) and product does not become contaminated or failed to maintain proper temperature for product that requires refrigeration. If this were to occur, then the Shipping Coordinator, QA Manager and Manufacturing Manger must be immediately notified for further disposition. A corrective action will be issued and approved by QA Manager or designate for disposition. Follow all Sun. Rype Food Safety guidelines and Personal Health, Hygiene and GMP's. 2. Responsibilities:Able to load and unload all vehicles; may involve bins, bulk, solid waste or slurry. Able to drive a forklift and be forklift certified.
