Triage Nurse Pediatrics (PSP) - Full-time Associates - Sturdy Memorial Hospital : Job Details

Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5pm)Working under the direction of the attending physician and the Practice Manager, the staff registered nurse participates as a team member in the implementation and follow through of patient care activities.Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:* Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in office-based practice* Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served* Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth development* Is able to assess and interpret data reflective of the patient's status* Provides care as outlined in standards, policies and procedures* Command of verbal and written English* Demonstrated clinical competence* Positive interpersonal communication skills* Good organizational skillsPreferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:* 1 to 3 years medical-surgical nursingEducational Requirements:* Graduate from accredited school of nursing requiredLicense/Certification:* Current MA license* BLS certifiedAge Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the work place, with or without a reasonable accommodation.Sturdy Memorial Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
