We are hiring for a Tree Data Collector/Patroller position in Northern California.

Job Description

Responsible for collecting tree field inventory data and completing the data collection process. Provide general assistance to the Contract Administrator.

Work Hours

7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Salary Range

$26.39 to $36.73 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

High organizational skills, computer literacy, basic clerical aptitude, extensive arboriculture knowledge including tree species identification, and the ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification. Previous tree industry experience in this role is required. Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed.

Regular Job Duties

• Collect GPS tree inventory data
• Maintain and update tree inventories
• Provide training to field employees on inventory processes
• Perform other duties as required

Certification/License Recommendations

• Valid Driver's License
• ISA Certified Arborist

• Hot, cold, dry, and wet weather
• Hazardous, dirty, noisy work environments
• Working under pressure

• Long periods of walking
• Working on irregular surfaces
• Standing, bending, squatting

Job Class

• Class III - Moderate physical activity. Mostly on feet, occasional lifting over 50 pounds, frequent lifting 10-25 pounds.
