Provide leadership in partnering with families and appropriate others in the community to assure that the therapeutic needs of a designated caseload of troubled children are adequately addressed. In each case the Treatment Coordinator/Therapist will assure that the services delivered both to the target child/adolescent and to the family are individualized, appropriate to need, child centered, family focused, culturally competent, strengths based, and goal driven.

Facilitates therapy by initiating and coordinating psychiatric, psychological, and other supportive therapeutic services when appropriate using trauma-informed care to assure that children and families receive appropriate intensive therapeutic services.

Assesses child's needs in all life domains and develops measurable and objective treatment plan goals, provides ongoing advocacy and support, and monitor progress to assure the development and implementation of educational and treatment plans.

Assures quality and model fidelity through training activities with Treatment Foster Care (TFC) parents, formal TFC Parent Evaluation, and assist with arranging respite services.

To assure quality service and compliance with regulatory bodies by preparing summaries, Individual Service Plans, quarterly updates, and program contract with families.

Follows all policies, procedures, and standards relating to child safety and well being.

Maintains regular contact and open lines of communication between the programs, the child's family, relevant community agency and case aides.

State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.

Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Physical Demands: Requires vision, speech, and hearing.

Environmental Factors: Community, home, school.

Working Hours: A non-traditional work schedule as defined by service needs and crisis on-call .

Masters or better in Human Services or related field.

1 year: Experience working with children and/or families.
