Role Overview

In this role, you will coordinate and oversee daily cash operations to ensure Wegmans has the appropriate & adequate amount of cash on hand daily to fulfill its financial obligations and optimize liquidity. You will work with external banks to investigate and resolve cash discrepancies, set up new treasury-related services, and compile reports for the Department of Treasury to ensure compliance with government regulations for audits.

What will I do?

Oversee and manage Cash Management Analyst, review and approve daily cash transactions, ensuring accuracy.

Review monthly bank service charges and analyze variances.

Report Suspicious Activity and Currency Transaction reports to the Department of the Treasury.

Research and resolve banking and store issues; assist in implementing controls and procedures.

Maintain reporting from the check authorization vendor to resolve customer service issues.

Review, approve, reconcile, and post month-end entries.

Analyze depository relationships for new market store areas.

Assist with internal and external finance audits.

Support Treasury in process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of financial experience with understanding of accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with corporate cash management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience.
• Experience managing people.
