Treasury Money Market Operations Specialist - Pelham Berkeley Search : Job Details

Top Tier mid-sized Financial Organization seeks front office Treasury Money Market Operations Specialist. This is a direct hire full-time role with a Premier mid-sized Financial Organization that offers competitive compensation and a great benefits package. This is a hybrid onsite role that requires onsite work 2-3 days per week in Midtown Manhattan. In this role, you will work in the front office responsible for inputting Money Market transactions, conducting KYC profiles, ensuring proper closing balances, and promoting operational efficiency based on industry best practice. In summary, you will:

• Input Money Market Transactions (CD/CP, repos, money market deposits and placement, internal loans, Cross Currency Swaps, etc.) as well as conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) profiles.
• Check the USD overnight position to ensure all Debit/Credit from various groups are matched with actual incoming/outgoing funds.
• Review the computing for accuracy to ensure the proper closing balance is left in the account.
• Promote money market desk operational efficiency based on industry best practice.

Requirements include:

• 1+ years of relevant front office experience support experience.
• Knowledge of Money Market financial products (CD/CP, repos, money market deposits and placement, internal loans, Cross Currency Swaps, etc.), ability to work with many complex transactions, and understand balance sheet mechanics.
• Ability to deliver practical solutions in a demanding high-pressure environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Office products (advanced).
• Completed Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
