Job Overview – Treasury Analyst (Private Equity):Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000/year + bonusLocation: New York, NYSchedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)Step into a key role as a Treasury Analyst (Private Equity) with our client's finance team in New York, NY (Hybrid). Manage cash, payments, reconciliations, and capital activity across multiple private equity entities. Prepare journal entries, oversee capital call and distribution wires, and support financial reporting and audit readiness. Ideal for candidates with strong Excel and accounting system skills in a fast-paced private equity environment.Responsibilities as the Treasury Analyst:
  • Cash & Capital Management: Monitor daily cash, execute wires and transfers, and manage capital calls and distributions with proper documentation.
  • Accounts Payable & Reimbursements: Process AP, payroll, and T&E to ensure timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Reconciliations & Journal Entries: Perform cash reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and maintain general ledger accuracy across entities.
  • Audit & Compliance Support: Assist with SOX and corporate audits, and support tax and regulatory filings for domestic and foreign entities.
  • Improvement & Collaboration: Drive treasury automation initiatives and support the Controller, GPs, and Finance team on cross-functional projects.
Qualifications for the Treasury Analyst:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance, ideally within private equity, investment management, or public accounting.
  • Technical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Investran or QuickBooks, with a strong understanding of journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with private equity fund structures, capital call/distribution cycles, and audit/regulatory support processes.
  • Skills & Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
