PRN/Part-time Dental Assistant

Travel to Holyoke and Springfield on Thursdays 8am - 5pm

May assist on other days as needed

We are looking for a passionate Dental Assistant to become an essential part of our care team. As a Registered Expanded Services Dental Assistant (DA), you will directly support the dental staff in providing exceptional care and assisting in treatment. Help us promote excellent dental practices and contribute to meaningful patient experiences.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to every patient.
  • Guide parents and patients through our treatment processes in a friendly manner.
  • Provide education on oral hygiene and postoperative instructions to patients.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
  • Take x-rays and save them to patient charts (location dependent).
  • Ensure the hygiene bay and operatory rooms are ready for operation.
  • Prepare tray setups and materials for dental procedures.
  • Mix dental materials as needed and maintain a sterile working environment.
  • Assist dental staff during procedures such as suctioning and instrument handling.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately.
  • Comply with all government regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
  • X-ray certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • Certified dental assistant credentials as per state requirements.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus (location dependent).
