Job Title: Data Center Commissioning Engineer

Location: Can sit anywhere within an hour of an airport

This role involves 3 weeks of travel per month and 1 week remote per month.

Job Summary: Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Commissioning Engineer to support our client's operations across several major data centers throughout the Americas. This role requires an expert in data center commissioning with a strong background in either mechanical or electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the commissioning process for large-scale data centers to ensure systems meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct tests, inspections, and performance evaluations for both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning phase to maintain project timelines and standards.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports for all commissioning activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in engineering with a specific focus on data center projects.
• Proficiency in mechanical design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during high-demand projects.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively and stay away from home for extended periods.

Duration: Permanent Hire

Pay: $100,000/yr - $120,000/yr
